Since middle school friends and family noticed my innate ability and passion for helping others. It only seemed right to nurture that passion with some formal education. I completed my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from University of Pittsburgh. Then received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I went on to complete a Postgraduate Certification in Sex Therapy from the Council for Relationships. I have specialized training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, and I am a Usui Shiki Ryoho Masters level Reiki practitioner.
I am a member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), The Association of Black Sexologists and Clinicians (ABSC), and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
